Underground, overground….come on a walk with City of London guide Cwti green and find some of the City of London's hidden treasures.

There are many hidden treasures in the City of London. On this walk you will be able to explore some of them. Some are hard to access, some have been forgotten about but are still there, some are in view but very few people know their significance. On this walk towards the east of the City of London, we will be able to cover various sites which people seldom get to see, or have just never noticed before, from a Roman amphitheatre and temple to prehistoric remains, tucked-away streets and old houses, and forgotten religious foundations.

Cwti
Cwti Green is a City of London guide, and leads walks for the Museum of London and the City of London Education Department.

She is eminently qualified to do this, being the proud possessor of a carrying voice, an Actor's Equity card and a somewhat quirky personality. As well as her knowledge of history and of many fascinating tales of the City of London, she spent the early years of the 1990s doing stand-up comedy in Scotland, because of her interest in the funny side of human nature.

So any walk with her will be a little off-beat, reasonably amusing and on the whole a very entertaining way to spend the odd hour or so!
