  What is Pilates?
Pilates was founded by Joseph Pilates who was born in 1880 and brought up in Germany. He later moved to England at the age of 32.

By targeting deep postural muscles, Pilates builds strength from the inside out. It rebalances and realigns the body to create a long, lean and toned physique with a solid core. Pilates works at a slow pace, giving time to explore the sensation of each movement. The aim is not to over-develop those muscles that are already powerful but to strengthen the weaker ones, particularly those concerned with the back, belly and bum.

Benefits of Pilates
Pilates is beneficial for general fitness, specific health conditions and most of all for your overall well-being.

Location
Can be carried out in a gym, home, outside, a hotel room or somewhere of your choice.
